School Year Open Skate Schedule
🛼 FALL SKATING IS BACK. 🙌😂
School is starting. Sports are starting. The kids have approximately 47 activities and somehow still have enough energy to destroy your house.
We can help with that last part. 😏
🍂 REGULAR OPEN SKATE STARTS AUGUST 28!
FRIDAY
6–8 PM & 8–10 PM
Wear. Them. Out. 🙌
SATURDAY
1–3 PM • 3–5 PM • 5–7 PM • 7–9 PM
Four sessions. Pick one. Pick two. Heck, bring them back again. We don’t judge. 😂
SUNDAY
2–4 PM
Two glorious hours where someone else provides the entertainment. 🛼

👶 TODDLER TIME
Monday–Wednesday | 9–11 AM
$5/kiddo | Ages 1–6
Starts at the end of October!
Let them skate, scoot, wiggle and burn off some energy. Then go home and attempt the sacred ritual known as NAP TIME. 🙏😂
📚 HOMESCHOOL DAY
First Friday of every month | 12–2 PM
Starts September 4 | $5/skater
PE? ✅ Social time? ✅ Kids tired afterward? Hopefully. 😂
🪩 ADULT NIGHT
Last Saturday of every month | 9–11 PM
Starts in September!
That’s right, parents. A night where YOU get to skate. Just remember—you’re not 17 anymore, and your knees know it. 😂
🚨 CLOSED AUGUST 21–23
We’re moving our daughter to college. 😭❤️
So while your kids are driving you crazy at home that weekend, just know ours is making us haul furniture four hours away and then somehow leave without her.
Parenthood is weird. 😂

Every 1st Friday of the month is homeschool day for homeschoolers or online students. Great place to meet up and join a new friend group! Water bottles are welcomed but no other outside food or drinks. 12-2pm $5/skater

Iron Horse Skateway is a family owned and operated roller skating rink.
We have always loved skating and when Razor City Skateland shut its doors, we knew the community would miss this favorite pastime! Our family came together to open the doors once again, this time with a major facelift!
IHS is still in the same location that over looks Gillette's beautiful parks, city scape and train tracks, hence our new name Iron Horse Skateway plus my hero, My DAD loves model trains! Our family has lived in Gillette for over a decade, raising 5 children and would never dream of being somewhere else! This is truly a family ran business! We hope you enjoy the Skateway as much as we do!
